That rum kick at the end really sneaks up on you, and the buttery caramelized banana melts right into the milk chocolate. One square and I felt like I’d been handed a warm, flambéed dessert in miniature.
The caramelized banana flavor is deep and buttery, not fake at all, and the chocolate melts so smoothly it feels like a proper dessert. I broke off squares to snack on after dinner and the warm rum note makes it feel a little indulgent without being overpowering.
The rum kick sneaks up on you right after the banana sweetness fades, and that flambéed finish actually comes through in the chocolate. I broke off a square to taste slowly and ended up eating the whole bar in one sitting.
