I was skeptical about whiskey in chocolate, but the smoky single malt comes through without overpowering the ganache. The coating snaps cleanly and the centers stay silky, not gritty like some liquor truffles I've tried. Eighteen of these disappeared at my holiday dinner faster than I expected.
