The dark chocolate is genuinely bitter in the best way, so the peanut butter inside tastes even richer by contrast. I ate two straight from the fridge and the snap was perfect. Gluten-free too, which I didn't even need but appreciate.
I was worried these would be too sweet, but the peanut butter is unsweetened and salty enough to balance the dark chocolate. The cups are thicker than a standard candy aisle version, so one is plenty. Genuinely the best gluten-free treat I've bought this year.
The dark chocolate is genuinely bitter in the best way, so it cuts through the sweet peanut butter instead of turning into candy. I've been eating one after dinner and the gluten-free thing is a nice bonus.
