Bought this for my mom's birthday and she actually teared up opening it — forty truffles is way more than I expected for the price. The seasonal flavors are a nice touch, and you can tell they're handmade because no two look alike.
The printed wrappers on each truffle are almost too pretty to unwrap, and the seasonal flavors actually taste fresh instead of that waxy stuff you get in most boxed chocolates. Forty pieces is a lot, but somehow half the box disappeared the first night.
Sent these to my sister for her anniversary and she said the seasonal flavors were the best part, especially the ones she couldn't quite place. Forty truffles in that box felt genuinely generous, and every piece looked hand-painted.
