I bought this for my mom's birthday and the chocolate on the apricots and dates was still perfectly glossy when it arrived. The pears were my favorite, firm and not too sweet under the coating.
The lavender box alone made me want to keep it for myself instead of giving it away. The dates and apricots were the surprise standouts, chewy and not overly sweet under the chocolate. Easily the prettiest thing I've ordered all spring.
Bought this as a spring hostess gift and ended up keeping it for myself. The lavender box alone got a gasp, and the peach and apricot slices are thick, real fruit—not candy. Pineapple dipped in purple chocolate sounded odd but it works.
