Our Original Dark Chocolate Truffles, one recipe that made us famous. Twenty pieces of creamy dark chocolate ganache, featured in Oprah and Food & Wine, wearing our signature print. Gluten-free, and our best seller year after year. The Compartés dark chocolate truffles, definitively.
I bought these as a gift and ended up keeping them for myself. The dark ganache is smooth without being too sweet, and they're gluten-free so my sister could actually share them. Twenty pieces disappeared way faster than I expected.
The ganache is ridiculously smooth for something that's gluten-free, and the dark chocolate isn't bitter at all. I gave the box to my mom for her birthday and she hid the last four pieces from the rest of us. Twenty pieces disappeared faster than I expected.
The ganache is genuinely creamy and melts fast, which I loved, though two pieces arrived slightly smushed against the tray. Still, twenty truffles for the price feels fair and they're gluten-free so my sister could share them.
