Our Grandmaster chocolate chess set, rare and wonderfully over the top. A full set of chocolate chess pieces with a chocolate chess board, packed in a keepsake green croc briefcase. Made to order, the edible chess game for the player who plays to win.
The pieces are surprisingly detailed for something made of chocolate, and the board itself held up fine at room temp without any melting. My wife actually hesitated to take the first bite because it looked too good. The green croc briefcase it arrives in is now sitting on our shelf as a keepsake.
The chocolate board itself is almost too pretty to break into, but the pieces snap apart cleanly and the dark chocolate is genuinely good, not waxy. My dad and I played a full game before eating half the pawns. The green croc briefcase it arrives in is a nice touch too.
Got this as a birthday gift and the green croc briefcase alone made it feel special. The chocolate pieces are decent quality, though a couple had softened in transit. Still a fun centerpiece for a chess-loving friend.
