The sea salt is what makes these — you get that little crunch and salty hit right before the peanut butter kicks in. Dark chocolate keeps the whole thing from being too sweet, which I appreciated more than I thought I would.
I was expecting the usual sweet truffle but the dark chocolate here is actually bitter enough to balance the peanut butter center. That salty crunch catches you on the second bite. Ordered a box for a movie night and half of them were gone before the credits.
The sea salt is what gets me, little crunch in the homemade peanut butter against that dark chocolate shell. Not too sweet either, which is rare for a truffle. I ate four in one sitting and had to hide the box from myself.
