The wrapper with the starry California palms caught my eye first, but the creamy chocolate melting over that crispy rice snap is what won me over. It’s basically the childhood treat I remember, just smoother and richer now.
I wasn't expecting the chocolate-to-crunch ratio to be this spot on, but every bite has that light snap without the rice getting stale or chewy. The wrapper's palm design is a nice little touch too, makes it feel fancier than the lunchbox version I grew up with.
The crispy rice gives it that nostalgic snap I loved as a kid, though the chocolate leans a bit sweeter than I'd prefer. Still, the creamy texture against the crunch is spot on and the bar held up well in my bag.
