Our English Toffee in its new gold-foiled gift box. The time-honored recipe since 1950, rich brown sugar and roasted almonds, hand dipped in premium chocolate and rolled in finely chopped almonds. Buttery sweetness in luxurious form, unlike any toffee you have tried.
The gold-foiled box alone made this feel way more expensive than it was. The toffee itself is the real star though, soft enough to bite but the roasted almonds and brown sugar give it a proper crunch. Sent one to my sister and immediately ordered a second for myself.
Bought this for my dad's birthday and he hid the box from the rest of us. The toffee itself is properly buttery with big roasted almond pieces, and the chocolate layer is thick enough to actually crack when you bite in. Somehow half the box was gone before dinner.
